The Targa Rally

On the 24th October 2007 the Targa rally came to Whanga. It was really fun because we got to do things like border patrol, raffles, pancakes and whip cracking. I liked raffles best of all because we got to walk around and see all the cool cars. The Targa rally is when about 150 racing cars race from the bottom of the Douglas saddle to Whanga. It took one car 21minutes. Now that’s fast! It takes us about 40 minutes to get to Douglas. Just before the cars left Hannah and I went around and got the all the flash cars drivers to sign a photo of their car.

Hey Sarah
I had to do docking that day but I saw loads of the cars go past our road. Did you see the little one with the back open because it couldn't fit all the engine in it otherwise? Well anyway that was my favourite car!
